Not a workflow. Five ways into one measurement, and no order you have to follow.

Nothing here is step one, and no view holds a reading the others cannot see.

A framework that told you to start at the Matrix, narrow on the Rails and confirm on the Chart would be a method, and this product does not sell you one. What sits underneath all five is a single computation: the studies you chose, on the timeframes you chose, scored the same way everywhere. Press 3 and nothing is recalculated — the same numbers are simply drawn as meters instead of cells.

That is why the keys are worth learning and the order is not. Each view is the fastest answer to one question and a poor answer to the others, so which one you reach for is a property of what you are asking, not of where you are in a process. Studies are global across all five — a score is a function of the set, so a view cannot quietly hold its own — while timeframes can be narrowed on a view without writing anything to your configuration.

One of the five is not like the other four, and one of them is a sandbox. Both facts are structural rather than cosmetic, so they get their own sections below rather than a footnote.

Four views answer one question. The fifth asks a different one.

Matrix, Cards, Rails and Chart are all scoped to the symbol in your header: they arrange one instrument’s readings and differ only in what they make easy to see. Watch stands at a different altitude, and the terminal admits it by swapping the chrome out rather than reusing it.

The Chart is where you try things. Nothing here reaches your Matrix.

This is the one thing people reliably assume the wrong way round, so it is said plainly: the Chart’s study list is its own. Add an SMA here and your Matrix, your Cards, your Rails and your Watch rows are untouched, because your applied configuration has not changed.

Pushing one across is deliberate and gated. → MATRIX puts the study in your draft, and the draft does nothing until you Apply — so a recompute is always something you asked for. LOAD MATRIX runs the other way, putting your applied set on the chart linked, where an entry is genuinely the same slot rather than a study that happens to share a name.

Ninety bars, fixed, no zoom — which is what makes it line up bar for bar with every history strip elsewhere in the terminal. A scratch entry gets no alert section either: an alert belongs to a Matrix slot, and offering one on scratch would promise a badge that can never arrive.

A framework is the easiest place in a product like this to smuggle in a house method. Recommend a view, order the keys, put a badge on the strongest cell, and the thing that was a measurement has quietly become advice with a layout.
